I am Irish and was born and raised in Co. Mayo in the very west of the country. Having always had a keen interest in English during my school years, when it came time to decide on a course to study at university there was only one career on my mind - Journalism. I set off for London in autumn 2020 and haven't looked back since.
I have now completed my undergraduate degree, having studied BA Journalism at University of Westminster. Upon graduating, I headed for Australia (very original I know) where I spent a year travelling. While in Melbourne, I was lucky enough to work for one of Australia’s leading fashion and lifestyle magazines. I have since moved back to Ireland , where I will continue to pursue writing.

It was here in London where I spent three years perfecting my craft. Studying BA Journalism at University of Westminster, one of the most prestigious universities in London was a rewarding experience.
Through an intensive module catalogue, I was encouraged to endeavour all forms of journalism. However, it was clear from the beginning my passion for writing is my greatest strength and the avenue I wish to pursue.
During my time here, I familiarised myself with long form journalism, listicles, opinion pieces, and multimedia articles in all genres of the industry.
